Description
Peyman has slept in this tent for at least 2.5 years daily and we have used this tent while bikepacking in Africa for two months and one month in Asia.
Pros:
- Good price and value combination
- Durability is ok, it is totally free standing which is a must for 3 season tent.
- Inner tent is mainly mesh, so this makes it pleasant to sleep in during hot nights.
- Inner mesh can be, and basically will be, pitched independently.
- It is pretty lightweight.
- It is possible to pack the inner tent and rain cover separately. This is great when the rain cover is wet, so you don’t end up making the inner tent wet also.
- Good for 2 people or even solo.
- Perfect for bikepacking or hiking.
Cons:
- Can’t stand the high wind.
- When pitching the tent in rain, the inner tent gets wet since you need to pitch the inner tent first and then put the rain cover on top. Yes there are ways to pitch the rain cover first then attach the inner tent to it, but this needs nerves made out of hard metal 😉 but this is an issue with all 3 season tents.
