Description
We have used these magnetic pedals starting from Autumn of 2025 during our 5Athlon challenge and cycling through Europe.
Pros:
- Durable and easy to use
- Really improves the power to pedal because you can also lift your feet (but this feature also applies when it comes to SPD pedals)
- You can use any SPD compatible shoes with the counterpart
- Strong enough to keep you foot attached but it doesn’t get stuck when you stop and forget that your foot is still attached to the pedal
- Both sides of the pedal is even, so if you use normal shoes without magnet counterpart it’s very comfortable
- You can walk with shoes without ruining floors because the counterpart is just a plate and doesn’t stick out from the bottom of your cycling shoe
